LG Chairman Koo Kwang-mo Wins First Trial in Inheritance Dispute

[Financial News] Koo Kwang-mo, chairman of LG Group, has won the first trial in an inheritance dispute filed by his mother, younger sister and other members of the LG founding family. They had brought a lawsuit to restore inheritance rights, seeking a redistribution of the estate of his late father, former chairman Koo Bon-moo.
On the 11th, Civil Division 11 of the Seoul Western District Court, presided over by Judge Koo Kwang-hyun, ruled against the plaintiffs in the inheritance restoration lawsuit filed by the late Koo Bon-moo’s spouse and daughters against Chairman Koo Kwang-mo. The court also ordered the three plaintiffs to bear all litigation costs.
