[Financial News] The all‐black outfit that Hotel Shilla president Lee Boo-jin wore to her son Lim Dong-hyun’s high school graduation has become a hot topic.
On the 9th, Lee arrived at Whimoon High School in Seoul’s Gangnam District with her aunt, Hong Ra-young, former deputy director-general of the Leeum Museum of Art. Throughout the ceremony, she could be seen waving at her son and smiling brightly, unable to hide how proud she was.
Lim, who has been a vocalist in the school band, performed on stage at an event held before the graduation ceremony. He and his friends sang Boohwal’s "Never Ending Story" followed by Shin Hae-chul’s "To You." Watching from the audience, Lee responded with a broad smile, clapping and cheering them on.
That day, Lee appeared in a black long coat, pairing it with black gloves and a black bag. Her understated all‐black look drew attention.
The coat Lee wore appears to be a long tailored coat from French luxury brand Lanvin. It is characterized by a leather strap detail at the waist and is currently sold out at official retailers. Similar designs are priced in the 3 to 4 million won range.
Her bag is believed to be the black "Numéro Un" tote from French brand Polène. The piece stands out for its curved silhouette and draped detailing, and it is priced in the 700,000 won range.
Born in 2007, Lim attended Gyeonggi Elementary School and Whimoon Middle School before graduating from Whimoon High School. He recently drew attention when it was reported that he was admitted to the Department of Economics at Seoul National University after missing only one question on the national college entrance exam.
