[Financial News] TV personality Sohn Mina drew attention as she explained why she relocated to Barcelona, Spain, and shared how she has been doing.
On the 7th, Sohn Mina uploaded a video to her YouTube channel titled, "Premium jamón at the supermarket around the corner?! A healing life in Spain with tapas laid out feat. grocery store tour, terrace with Sagrada Família view, and more."
In the video, Sohn Mina began, "When I was working as a news anchor, I wanted to study more, so I decided to take a leave of absence and go abroad to study." She continued, "I had planned to go to Madrid, but while traveling in Japan I happened to meet some Spanish friends, and at their suggestion I ended up settling in Barcelona." She recalled, "At first it was hard to believe, but with my friends’ help I formed a connection that has lasted to this day."
Speaking about the friend who supported her, Sohn Mina said, "She became a great source of strength for me, and to this day she is a precious person with whom I cry and laugh together," expressing her gratitude. Describing the local atmosphere in Spain, she added, "People in Spain are very casual. They’re incredibly relaxed and open, and they seem to accept each other just as they are," and went on, "Living in that kind of environment, I naturally found myself drawn to Spain."
Sohn Mina married a non-celebrity in 2007, but announced their divorce just a year later, in 2008. Then, in November last year, she revealed that she had been in a car accident while staying in Hawaii in 2018, which became a hot topic.
She recalled, "I saw this huge car coming at full speed," adding, "I had this strange experience of accepting that I might die." She went on, "I heard them at the hospital saying I might never walk again," drawing sympathy. Looking back on the accident as a turning point, she confessed, "My life changed from that moment. I decided to live by asking myself, if the world were to stop tomorrow, what is it that I would want to do today?"
