[Financial News] Burger King announced on the 10th that it will raise prices on some items starting on the 12th due to continued increases in raw material and other related costs.
The price adjustment for burgers will be 200 won per single item. Side menus such as snacks and desserts will go up by 100 won.
With this adjustment, the price of Burger King's flagship "Whopper" will increase from 7,200 won to 7,400 won, and the "Whopper Jr." will rise from 4,800 won to 5,000 won.
The price of "French Fries" will also increase from 2,200 won to 2,300 won.
A Burger King representative said, "Prices of key imported raw materials such as beef patties, buns, and vegetables have risen sharply, and overall cost pressures from various external factors have increased, leaving us no choice but to adjust prices," adding, "To minimize the burden on customers, we set the increase below the actual rise in costs."
