According to Financial News, an SUV driving in a semi-autonomous mode crashed into a truck that was parked on the road to guide roadwork in the early hours of the 6th.
Police stated that the crash occurred at about 4:25 a.m. near the Geumsa Ramp on Beonyeong-ro in Geumjeong-gu, Busan.
At the time of the accident, the SUV was traveling in a semi-autonomous driving mode using cruise control when it slammed into a stationary 1-ton work guidance truck. The SUV driver was injured and is being treated at a hospital. No one was inside the 1-ton truck.
Police are investigating the exact circumstances of the crash by questioning the driver and witnesses.
