[Financial News] BTS (Bangtan Boys), who are set to return as a full group for the first time in about three years and nine months, have earned additional streaming certifications from the Recording Industry Association of Japan (RIAJ).
According to the RIAJ on the 30th, the title track “Yet To Come (The Most Beautiful Moment)” from BTS’s anthology album Proof (album) and “Love Maze” from their third full-length album Love Yourself: Tear each surpassed 100 million and 50 million cumulative streams in Japan as of December 2025. The songs have therefore been certified “Platinum” and “Gold,” respectively, in the streaming category.
The RIAJ grants monthly certifications in the streaming category based on cumulative play counts, classifying songs as Gold (50 million or more streams), Platinum (100 million or more), and Diamond (500 million or more).
BTS now hold a total of 16 Platinum and 48 Gold streaming certifications. Notably, they previously earned Diamond certifications for “Dynamite” and “Butter,” a milestone that remains the first and only of its kind for a K-pop act.
“Yet To Come” looks back on the musical journey BTS have taken so far while promising an even brighter future ahead. “Love Maze” portrays the hope of not losing each other in a maze and carries a heartfelt message to their global fanbase ARMY (Adorable Representative M.C. for Youth).
The recent rise in streaming for the two tracks is seen as reflecting the anticipation of the global ARMY, who are revisiting BTS’s messages in the lead-up to the group’s full-member comeback.
BTS will release their fifth studio album Arirang on March 20 at 1 p.m. The new album features 14 tracks that explore universal emotions such as the group’s identity, longing, and deep love.
Meanwhile, starting with a concert at Goyang Stadium on April 9, BTS will embark on a large-scale world tour spanning 82 shows across 34 cities.
