[The Financial News] Shin Ji of the co-ed group Koyote will marry singer MoonOne in May.
On the 26th, Shin Ji posted a handwritten letter on her social networking service (SNS) to share the news of her marriage.
Shin Ji wrote, "I would like to make an official announcement about the most important event in my life, my marriage," adding, "MoonOne and I are planning to hold our wedding in May."
In June last year, Shin Ji revealed that she would be marrying MoonOne, a ballad singer seven years younger than her. The two reportedly started out as a couple and later developed a more serious relationship.
In her letter, Shin Ji said, "As we spent time together, we grew closer, built trust, and I became grateful that I now have someone who is completely on my side. We came to rely on each other, and we have become even stronger."
She continued, "I am well aware of all the warm concern and worries so many of you have shown us," and added, "We will not forget them and will move forward step by step, staying constant and unchanged as we walk in step together."
Shin Ji debuted with Koyote in 1998 and has released numerous hit songs, including "Sunjeong," "Broken Heart," "Paran," and "Disco King." MoonOne is a singer who debuted in 2012 with "Live With Me." He first connected with Shin Ji when he appeared as a guest on the radio program "Single Bungle Show," where she was working as a DJ.
