Smoke at Ogeum Station on Seoul Subway Line 3 Temporarily Halts Train Operations (Comprehensive)

[Financial News] Train operations were temporarily disrupted after smoke was detected at Ogeum Station on Seoul Subway Line 3.
According to Seoul Metro, at around 1:26 p.m. on the 16th, smoke was reported coming from a track switch on the down line at Ogeum Station on Line 3, leading to a temporary suspension of train services.
Seoul Metro operated trains only up to Garak Market Station and suspended service at Ogeum Station and National Police Hospital Station.
About an hour later, at around 2:20 p.m., inspections and measures on the track switch were completed, and train operations resumed.
No casualties have been reported in connection with this incident.
