[Financial News] A city bus crashed into the new NACF building near Seodaemun Station in Seoul, injuring 13 people.
According to the police and fire authorities on the 16th, at around 1:15 p.m. that day, a city bus suspected of having faulty brakes collided with a building in front of the new NACF building near Seodaemun Station.
A total of 13 people, including the bus driver, were injured in the accident. Among them, pedestrian A, a woman in her 50s, and pedestrian B, a man in his 30s, are believed to have sustained serious injuries. The remaining 11 suffered minor injuries, and as of 2 p.m. there were no reported fatalities.
No injuries were reported among NongHyup Bank employees or visitors inside the building at the time of the accident.
Thirteen fire trucks and eight ambulances were dispatched to the scene to carry out rescue and transport operations.
It has not yet been confirmed whether the driver was under the influence of alcohol, and the police are investigating the exact cause of the accident, including possible defects in the braking system.
