NCSoft’s ‘Lineage Classic’ Begins Pre-Character Creation

[Financial News] NCSoft Corporation has begun full-fledged pre-launch preparations for Lineage Classic ahead of its official release.
NCSoft Corporation announced that pre-character creation for Lineage Classic will begin at 8 p.m. on the 14th.
All users can install Lineage Classic through NCSoft Corporation’s game platform PURPLE and create their characters in advance. Until the 27th of this month, they can choose a server, class (job), gender, and stats, and reserve their character name.
Pre-character creation for Lineage Classic is limited to one time per account, regardless of server. Character names cannot be duplicated on the same server.
NCSoft Corporation has also added a “Class” menu to the Lineage Classic brand website. Users can check detailed information on the Prince, Knight, Elf, and Mage classes. When a nickname belonging to a past famous character listed in the existing Hall of Fame menu is created in advance, that name will be highlighted with a glowing effect.
Lineage Classic is a PC game that recreates the early-2000s version of Lineage, which NCSoft Corporation has been servicing since 1998. A pre-launch free service will begin in South Korea and Taiwan on February 7, 2026, and the game will be available as a subscription-based service starting February 11.
