Kia Corporation launches special campaign to mark 25th anniversary of Australian Open tennis partnership

On the same day, Kia Corporation held an official vehicle handover ceremony for the Australian Open at Kia Arena in Melbourne Park, Victoria, Australia. The 130 vehicles provided by Kia Corporation will be used throughout the tournament to transport players, VIPs and officials, and to support smooth event operations.
Kia Corporation will also host the "AO 1 Point Slam" event to mark the opening of the Australian Open. In this format, the player who wins the first point wins the match, and 24 professional players, including world No. 1 in ATP Tour singles Carlos Alcaraz, along with 24 amateurs, are scheduled to take part. During the finals, Kia Corporation’s global brand ambassador Rafael Nadal will visit the Australian Open and participate in a range of events.

Meanwhile, during this year’s Australian Open, Kia Corporation will showcase its key electric vehicle lineup, including the Kia EV4, as well as unveil in Australia for the first time its purpose-built vehicle (PBV), The Kia PV5. In addition, Kia Corporation plans to offer a variety of experiences, including attendance at the 2026 Australian Open matches and local sightseeing in Melbourne, to 90 selected Kia electric vehicle buyers and test-drive customers from 22 countries, as well as 20 ball kids made up of grandchildren and children (aged 12 to 15) of Kia vehicle owners.
