[The Financial News] President Donald Trump was caught on camera responding with a middle-finger gesture to a person booing him during a public tour of a Ford vehicles plant.
In a video that spread on X (formerly Twitter) and other Social Networking Service (SNS) platforms on the 14th, President Donald Trump is seen touring Ford Motor Company’s Ford F-150 pickup truck assembly plant in Dearborn, Michigan, on the 13th (local time). Bill Ford Jr., the grandson of founder Henry Ford and the company’s chairman, and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Jim Farley accompanied President Donald Trump on the visit.
At that moment, a person believed to be a plant worker shouted at him, calling him a "protector of pedophiles." The heckler appeared to be expressing dissatisfaction with how the Trump administration handled the Jeffrey Epstein case involving the sexual exploitation of minors. President Donald Trump has also faced allegations that his name appears in files related to Jeffrey Edward Epstein’s sex scandal.
President Donald Trump then points his finger toward the direction of the shout and says something. From his lip movements, he appears to say the expletive "f*** you" twice. As he continues walking, he raises his fist and extends his middle finger, making a middle-finger gesture.
The White House has confirmed that the scene in the video did in fact take place at the Ford Motor Company plant.
White House Communications Director Steven Cheung told The Washington Post (WP), "A deranged man consumed by rage was shouting crude obscenities, and the President responded in an appropriate and unmistakably clear manner," as he described the situation at the time.
