The final competition zone was designed as a freestanding island composed only of base cabinets, referencing the finale stage from season one. Taking into account the need for cameras to secure 360-degree movement, Hanssem proposed an open-style island that allows unobstructed sightlines and free movement.
Equipment that directly affects cooking, such as burners and ovens, was prepared by the production team of Culinary Class Wars 2, while Hanssem was responsible for elements essential to the actual competition environment, including the distance between the countertop and sink and the placement of outlets to accommodate small appliances such as blenders.
The kitchen model used on the final stage was Euro 900 Tate, the top tier within Hanssem’s Euro-grade lineup. White was applied to the white team and deep gray to the black team, expressing the show’s ‘black and white’ concept through spatial contrast.
The island, which maintains stable proportions and a strong presence even without upper cabinets, functioned as a central stage object while heightening the tension and immersion of the final round.
A Hanssem official said, “Through EURO 900 Tate Island, we wanted to demonstrate Hanssem’s philosophy that the kitchen is not just a backdrop, but a space where culinary skills are fully realized.”
As an official special partner of Culinary Class Wars 2, Hanssem is providing contestants with an optimal cooking environment and high-quality kitchen solutions.
