[Financial News] Nexon Co., Ltd. announced on the 14th that the domestic esports tournament for its authentic online football game “EA SPORTS FCTM Online” (EA Sports FC Online), titled “2026 FSL Spring (FC Online Super Champions League Spring),” will kick off on the 25th.
This year, FSL will be held across two seasons, Spring and Summer. A total of 32 professional players, four from each of the eight clubs—T1, Gen City, KT Rolster, DRX, BNK FEARX, Nongshim RedForce, DN SOOPers, and Dplus KIA—will compete for a total prize pool of 2 billion won. Following the group draw on the 19th, the 2026 FSL Spring will open on January 25 and run through March 22 at the Jamsil DN Colosseum.
After restructuring the regular league last year to maximize the core excitement of esports, FSL plans this year to further strengthen the organic linkage between leagues. The aim is to provide players with consistent competitive opportunities and users with nonstop entertainment, thereby presenting a fully realized league ecosystem.
From this season, individual results achieved in FSL will be converted into points and integrated into the FTB Matchup System, which applies differentiated seeding advantages and disadvantages in the team competition that determines qualification for the international tournaments FC Pro Masters and FC Pro Champions Cup. The 16 players who win in the group stage (qualifiers) will advance to the knockout stage (main event), while those who are eliminated will join the second-division league, 2026 FFL Spring, to continue competing.
