SOOP announced on the 14th that, starting with the opening match between DN SOOPers and KT Rolster, it will livestream every match of the 2026 League of Legends Champions Korea Cup.
The League of Legends Champions Korea Cup will run from today through March 1, after which the regular season, the Mid-Season Invitational (MSI), the League of Legends World Championship (Worlds), and other major tournaments scheduled for this year will also be broadcast on SOOP.
Major overseas leagues will also be covered. SOOP will broadcast key regional leagues such as China’s League of Legends Pro League (LPL) and Europe’s League of Legends EMEA Championship (LEC), allowing users to preview the strength and play styles of international teams ahead of global tournaments.
Broadcasts will be available across multiple platforms, including PC, mobile apps, tablets, and cable TV. Users can enjoy matches anytime, anywhere, on a variety of devices regardless of location or environment. In addition, for official LCK broadcasts, SOOP offers a “Time Machine” feature that lets viewers instantly replay key moments during the live stream, enhancing viewing convenience.
Content will also be diversified. Based on streaming partnerships with 7 of the 10 LCK clubs, SOOP plans to roll out team-specific content. For these seven partner clubs, SOOP will recruit supporter streamers to produce team-linked programming such as match reaction streams and cheering content.
Events tied to match viewing will also be held. To mark the opening of the League of Legends Champions Korea Cup, SOOP will run fan-participation events such as choose-your-team cheering, interactive missions, and drops, while also offering benefits for new and returning users.
