'KAIST Early Graduation' Koo Hye-sun: "Thesis plagiarism rate 1%... Next up, a PhD?!"

[Financial News] Actor Koo Hye-sun, who has completed her master’s program at the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST), has revealed the plagiarism-check results for her master’s thesis.
On the 13th, Koo Hye-sun posted her graduation photo along with a plagiarism-check confirmation report on her social media (SNS).
Koo Hye-sun wrote, "The plagiarism rate is 1%. I’ll work even harder! Thank you for your support."
The released image shows the plagiarism-check results from the Copy Killer platform, indicating a plagiarism rate of 1%.
Earlier, on the 8th, Koo Hye-sun announced her early graduation from graduate school via SNS, saying, "I passed my master’s thesis and will be graduating early. The freshly bound copy has arrived. Next up, a PhD?! Victory!"
At the time, she also shared a photo of herself wearing a graduation gown and cap, along with a picture of the cover of her bound master’s thesis.
Meanwhile, Koo Hye-sun, who has continued her acting career through dramas such as 'Boys Over Flowers' (2009) and 'Blood' (2015), was finally accepted in June 2024 into the fall-semester intake for the KAIST Master’s Program in Science Journalism.
While enrolled, she developed and launched KOOROLL, a hair roller that flattens out, and the product was selected for the 2025 Outstanding Patent Grand Prize.
