[Financial News] Prime Minister Kim Min-seok said on the 13th, “In the second year of this administration, the State Council will evolve into a fully fledged forum of collective intelligence by expanding participation to include the heads of affiliated agencies.”
On this day, Kim Min-seok presided over a State Council meeting at Government Complex Seoul and said, “Over the past year, the State Council became a touchstone for K-democracy through unprecedented transparency and active debate, something not seen under previous governments.”
Kim Min-seok went on to say, “The people’s-sovereignty government is putting an end to the Yongsan era, which was marred by violations of the constitutional order, and is now in full preparation for a great leap forward for the Republic of Korea (South Korea). Above all, we will make this year a clear starting point for region-led growth and spare no bold support so that localities can achieve self-sustaining development.”
Kim Min-seok added, “I ask all ministers to completely break down the walls between ministries this year, with the State Council at the center, and to work as one team, thinking only of people’s livelihoods and the national interest.”
