According to Financial News, Eastar Jet announced on the 13th that it will launch its largest air ticket discount promotion of the year, “Super Star Festa” (hereafter Super Star Festa), starting on the 14th. Super Star Festa is an ultra-low-fare ticket sales promotion that Eastar Jet holds only twice a year, offering the highest discount rates and the largest number of seats on sale for the year.
The promotion will be available to members through the Eastar Jet website and mobile app (web). To ensure smooth website access, routes to Japan, Taiwan, China, and Kazakhstan will open at 10 a.m. on the 14th, and domestic, Thailand, and Vietnam routes will open at 10 a.m. on the 15th.
The maximum discount rate for this Super Star Festa is 98%. Based on one-way total fares including airport charges and fuel surcharges, tickets will start from 39,000 won for Japan, 59,000 won for Taiwan, Thailand, and Vietnam, 74,200 won for China, 176,500 won for Kazakhstan, and 15,900 won for domestic routes.
The travel period runs from March 29 to October 24. Detailed information, including certain blackout dates, is available on the Eastar Jet website.
In addition to special fares, customers will also receive a “date and time change fee waiver” benefit. Any Eastar Jet website member can change the date and time of international flight tickets free of charge, with no limit on the number of changes, up to 14 days before departure.
An Eastar Jet representative said, “We have prepared around 20,000 special-fare seats,” adding, “For KakaoTalk Plus Friend customers, we will send an alert 10 minutes before sales begin, so we recommend adding us in advance.”
Meanwhile, Eastar Jet was previously recognized for its service quality by Skytrax, a globally trusted airline rating agency, and ranked first in the “Best Low-Cost Airline in South Korea” category at the World Airline Awards 2025.
