[Financial News] President Lee Jae-myung of South Korea on the 12th offered his congratulations on the animated film "K-Pop Demon Hunters" (often nicknamed "Kedeheon" in Korea), which is based on traditional Korean culture, winning two awards at the Golden Globe Awards in the United States.
Through a social networking service (SNS) the same day, Lee Jae-myung said, "I hope our culture will continue to receive even greater love on the global stage," extending his congratulations.
Directed by Korean American filmmaker Maggie Kang, K-Pop Demon Hunters won both the Best Animated Feature and Best Original Song awards at the 83rd Golden Globe Awards held at The Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles (LA) on the same day.
