[Financial News] According to Financial News, U.S. President Donald Trump reposted a photo of himself that had been uploaded to a Social Networking Service (SNS) without adding any message of his own, prompting a range of interpretations about his intentions.
On the 11th (local time), President Trump shared on his Truth Social account a black-and-white photo that had been posted by a user on X (formerly Twitter).
The photo shows a figure believed to be President Trump standing on the roof of The White House in Washington, D.C. Heavy black-and-white filtering blurs his facial features, making his expression impossible to discern. The original post carries only the caption "Soon."
President Trump, who reposted the image, likewise did not attach any additional message.
Some members of the Republican Party (GOP) and the Make America Great Again (MAGA) camp interpret the post as a signal that military action against Venezuela, Iran, or domestic protests against U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) may be imminent.
There is also an interpretation that Trump deliberately uploaded the cryptic post in order to unsettle the Democratic Party of the United States.
