As an official CES partner, CNET collaborates with the Consumer Technology Association (CTA) to evaluate products exhibited at CES 2026, with more than 40 tech experts taking part in the judging process to determine the winners.
Based on criteria such as presenting a new concept, addressing key consumer pain points, and setting benchmarks for performance and quality, CNET selects 63 winners across 22 categories and then chooses a single “Best Product” from among them.
CNET described the Galaxy Z TriFold as a product that combines an eye-catching design with practicality, calling it a true hybrid device that fuses a full-size tablet and a smartphone in a slim form factor.
The outlet also praised it as the culmination of Samsung Electronics’ efforts to create a more refined and versatile foldable phone, noting that it advances the state of mobile technology.
In the “Best TV or Home Theater” category, Samsung Electronics’ premium organic light-emitting diode (OLED) TV lineup, the Samsung S95H OLED TV, took home the award.
CNET noted that the Samsung S95H OLED TV lineup stood out at CES 2026, adding that its peak brightness is about 35% higher than that of its predecessor.
For the first time in a Samsung OLED TV, burn-in prevention technology has been adopted, allowing users to view static images for extended periods. Through this, users can enjoy more than 5,000 works of art from the Samsung Art Store in ultra-high definition. The product also supports a Zero Gap Wall Mount, enabling it to be installed completely flush against the wall.
In the “Best Home Audio” category, Samsung’s Music Studio 5, unveiled for the first time at CES 2026, was named the winner. Music Studio 5 was designed by French furniture designer Erwan Bouroullec, who also created the design for Samsung The Serif lifestyle TV series.
Meanwhile, Samsung Electronics also received a total of 27 CES Innovation Awards from the Consumer Technology Association, including 12 for video displays, 4 for home appliances, 3 for mobile devices, 7 for semiconductors, and 1 for Harman products.
