Four Sent to Hospital After Red-Light Violation Near Seoseoul Lake Park

[Financial News] Four people were taken to hospital after a car ran a red light and caused a traffic accident in Sinwol-dong in Yangcheon District, Seoul.
According to the Seoul Yangcheon Police Station, at around 1:35 a.m. on the 12th, a vehicle that ran a red light collided with a car traveling straight near Seoseoul Lake Park in Sinwol-dong in Yangcheon District, Seoul.
As a result of the crash, both drivers and one passenger from each vehicle, four people in total, were transported to hospital by the 119 Emergency Medical Service. All are believed to be free from life-threatening injuries.
The driver who ran the red light was found not to have been under the influence of alcohol or drugs at the time.
Police have booked the driver on suspicion of occupational negligence resulting in injury under the Act on Special Cases concerning the Settlement of Traffic Accidents and are investigating the exact circumstances of the crash.
