Hanssem CEO Kim Yujin: “We Will Become the One and Only ‘Space Solution Company’”

On the 9th, Hanssem said that in his New Year’s address to employees, Kim stated, “We will go beyond being a company that simply sells good products and become an irreplaceable space solution company that gives customers confidence and a level of inspiration that exceeds expectations at every moment they encounter Hanssem.”
Kim went on to say, “Across the entire value chain in which customers come into contact with Hanssem, every employee must reflect on their own role and attend to even the smallest details,” presenting organizational priorities for 2026 to realize this vision.
First, the company plans to enhance both corporate and individual performance through efficient resource management. Tasks with low impact and work that has continued merely out of habit will be boldly reduced.
It will also strengthen data-driven insights. Rather than stopping at simply monitoring data, the company intends to keep asking questions, interpret the data, draw implications, and link them to concrete plans and execution.
Hanssem will further expand the use of digital technologies. As the leading company in the furniture and interior industry, it aims to leverage digital tools more extensively to enhance customer experience and improve operational efficiency.
“Instead of vaguely waiting for market conditions to turn in our favor, we must restore Hanssem’s inherent competitiveness and take the lead in the market by improving our corporate structure and ways of working,” Kim emphasized. “Challenging market conditions are an opportunity to strengthen our competitiveness based on Hanssem’s long-accumulated track record and capabilities.”
He added, “Rather than being fixated on short-term results, all employees have continuously asked, ‘What kind of company should Hanssem become?’ and have jointly set our mid- to long-term direction.”
