[Financial News] Former announcer and broadcaster Jang Ye-won has drawn attention by revealing her stock investment returns.
On the 7th, Jang Ye-won shared on her social media, "When I was running an economics channel with Ye-in, we had a mission to pick and buy a stock, and we chose SK Hynix."
She added, "If I had known that stock would become such a winner... we wouldn’t have bought just one share," expressing her lighthearted regret. "To this day, we still own only that single share," she continued.
Jang Ye-won also expressed her gratitude, saying, "Thank you to the people at SK Group for giving us such memories and inviting us to do the sisters’ YouTube channel." She posted a photo showing the return on her SK Hynix investment.
The screenshot Jang Ye-won shared displayed her SK Hynix holdings. While the purchase amount was obscured, the return rate stood at 323.53%. Based on SK Hynix’s closing price that day (742,000 KRW), it is estimated she bought the stock at around 170,000 KRW.
On the same day, the Korea Composite Stock Price Index (KOSPI) rose for the fourth consecutive session, driven by foreign investor net buying. Both SK Hynix and Samsung Electronics continued to hit record highs.
