[Financial News] Lee Jun-seok, leader of the Reform Party (RP), announced that he had received a debate challenge on electoral fraud from a theorist, with 100 million won at stake, and expressed his willingness to participate.
On the 6th, Lee wrote on his Social Networking Service (SNS), 'Someone among the electoral fraud theorists has offered 100 million won for a debate,' revealing his intention to accept.
He added, 'For months, I've been receiving messages via Instagram DM urging me to debate this person. He graduated from Seoul National University (SNU) with a degree in physics, has experience at a leading semiconductor company, and even does consulting for small businesses. He doesn't seem to be joking.' Lee continued, 'If I win the 100 million won, I’d like to buy books for a children’s library in Dongtan, which makes me excited,' indicating his willingness to accept the challenge.
The person who challenged Lee to a debate on electoral fraud appears to be a YouTuber with about 260,000 subscribers. The YouTube channel screenshot shared by Lee on SNS included a video thumbnail reading, 'Chairman Lee Jun-seok, I request a debate on electoral fraud. 100 million won ready!' as well as posts titled 'Reasons why electoral fraud cannot simply be dismissed as a conspiracy theory.'
Lee stated, 'Even if it's not this person, I always welcome debates with anyone who believes in electoral fraud. However, I ask that participants reveal their faces and take the debate seriously. There’s no need to pay me, but if you donate at least 10 million won to a place I recognize, that will suffice.'
In response, the YouTuber posted on his channel, 'Chairman Lee, thank you for accepting the debate. I didn’t expect you to respond; you are much better than others below.' He clarified, 'I said I would give 100 million won if you refute me, not just for participating in the debate.'

He added, 'If you refute me, I will gladly donate 100 million won to Dongtan as you wish. If you cannot, you don’t have to pay, but I ask that you simply apologize for your past remarks about electoral fraud.'
