[The Financial News] Actor Yoon Hee-seok has once again expressed his longing for his late close friend Lee Sun-kyun on the second anniversary of his passing.
On the 5th, Yoon Hee-seok posted several photos of his visit to Lee Sun-kyun’s grave on his social media account, along with a message: "Two years already. I still miss you, and it still hurts. 2026.1.5 Wooyubudan."
Yoon Hee-seok and Lee Sun-kyun were classmates in the first graduating class of the School of Drama at the Korea National University of Arts. They supported each other throughout their acting careers. 'Wooyubudan' is a social group formed by alumni from the same school.
The photos shared by Yoon Hee-seok show that fans and acquaintances who remember Lee Sun-kyun continue to visit his grave. The epitaph reads, "Missing everything today... I love you."

Lee Sun-kyun passed away on December 27, 2023, at the age of 48. Before his death, he was questioned three times by police on allegations of drug use. Throughout the investigations, he consistently denied the charges. Both the preliminary reagent tests and the detailed analysis conducted by the National Forensic Service (NFS) returned negative results.
Shortly after his third police questioning, Lee Sun-kyun was found dead in a parked car near Waryong Park in Jongno District, Seoul. The sudden news of his passing brought great shock and sorrow not only to the entertainment industry but also to the public.
Following Lee Sun-kyun’s death, the police investigation into the related case was closed due to lack of prosecutorial authority. In July, a club manager identified as 'A' was sentenced to five years and six months in prison on appeal for extorting over 300 million won from Lee Sun-kyun. A former actress, identified as 'B', who was indicted on the same charge, received a heavier sentence of six years and six months in prison on appeal.
