Las Vegas (United States) — "Samsung will lead the global expansion of artificial intelligence (AI) experiences," the company declared.
Tae-moon Roh, President and Head of Device eXperience (DX) at Samsung Electronics, expressed a strong commitment to leading the global AI home market at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2026, the world’s largest home appliance and IT exhibition, on the 4th (local time). Among more than 4,300 companies from 160 countries participating in CES 2026, Samsung Electronics hosted the official CES event called 'The First Look'—the largest and earliest of its kind—effectively kicking off this year’s show.
At a press conference held at Wynn Las Vegas, President Roh unveiled an expanded AI vision and strategy under the theme of 'AI Companion in Everyday Life.' When the world’s first 130-inch Micro RGB TV featuring Samsung’s TV technology and the exclusive Vision AI Companion platform was introduced on stage, the 1,800-seat audience erupted in applause and cheers.

President Roh announced, “We will apply AI to all product lines and services of Samsung Electronics,” outlining three major AI companion roles: Entertainment Companion, Home Companion, and Care Companion. He also highlighted open collaboration with global big tech companies, expanded AI connectivity, and robust security based on Samsung Knox as key initiatives.
At a dedicated exhibition hall at Wynn Las Vegas, Samsung Electronics unveiled a range of 2026 products, including AI TVs, the Bespoke AI Refrigerator powered by Google Gemini, and robot vacuum cleaners. Despite being a standalone venue, the hall was packed with thousands of media representatives, partners, and investors from around the world. From now until the 7th, Samsung Electronics will showcase AI appliances and home systems, and host tech forums. Meanwhile, Ryu Jae-cheol, President of LG Electronics, hinted via social media that the company has focused on safety and reliability in the development of its household robot, LG CLOiD, which is set to be unveiled at this CES.
Following Samsung Electronics’ official event, LG Electronics, Hyundai Motor Company, Nvidia, AMD, Lenovo, Hisense, and Siemens are joining the CES excitement.
