[Financial News] A Chinese female influencer was found in a dire condition on a street in the Kingdom of Cambodia after losing contact with her family.
According to Xinhua News Agency and other sources on the 5th, posts and photos have recently circulated on Chinese social media showing a female influencer from Fujian Province wandering the streets of the Kingdom of Cambodia.
Photos posted on social media show Ms. A with long, disheveled hair, an emaciated face and body, wearing a tweed jacket on top and short pants below. She had bruises and wounds on her knees, wore sunglasses upside down on her forehead, and was holding an X-ray image of her knee joint.
Police investigations revealed that this woman was an influencer with 34,000 followers on Douyin, the Chinese version of TikTok.

Ms. A reportedly left for the Kingdom of Cambodia in April last year to earn money. She was later kidnapped by a criminal organization, subjected to assault, torture, and forced prostitution, and after escaping, she became mentally unstable and wandered the streets.
The media explained, "After the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in the Kingdom of Cambodia learned of the situation, it immediately contacted local police and authorities," adding, "On the 3rd, Ms. A was found at a hospital in Sihanoukville."
According to her family, on December 26 last year, Ms. A requested money for medical treatment, saying, "My leg hurts and I need to go to the hospital." The family sent her 2,200 yuan (about 460,000 KRW).
However, on the same day, a relative found a photo of Ms. A posted on social media. After learning about this, her parents tried to contact her but were unsuccessful. As a result, they reported her missing to the local Public Security Bureau.
Ms. A's father said, "It was only after filing the missing person report that I learned my daughter had left for the Kingdom of Cambodia back in April 2025. All I hope for now is her safe return."
According to the police, Ms. A went to the Kingdom of Cambodia after being lured by promises of a high-paying job.
The Embassy of the People's Republic of China in the Kingdom of Cambodia transferred Ms. A to another hospital for treatment. After her health improved somewhat, the embassy contacted her family to arrange her return home.
