President Lee Arrives in Beijing, China... Summit with President Xi Jinping Scheduled for Tomorrow

President Lee Jae-myung and First Lady Kim Hea Kyung, on a state visit to China, arrived at Beijing Capital International Airport (BCIA) on the 4th (local time) and greeted those present.

Financial News China (Beijing) – President Lee Jae-myung, who is on a state visit to China, arrived in Beijing on the 4th (local time) ahead of his summit with President Xi Jinping.
President Lee and the First Lady appeared at BCIA at 1:46 p.m. and waved to the welcoming crowd. President Lee was dressed in a black suit with a red tie, while First Lady Kim Hea Kyung wore a dark blue long coat and a white blouse.
At the arrival ceremony, the Korean delegation included Ro Jae-hun, Ambassador to China; Seo Man-gyo, Vice Chair of the National Unification Advisory Council in China; Ko Tak-hee, President of the Federation of Korean Associations in China; and Yang Geol, President of the Korean Chamber of Commerce in China, who welcomed President Lee and the First Lady. From the Chinese side, Yin Hejun, Minister of Science and Technology, and Dai Bing, Chinese Ambassador to South Korea, attended the event.
President Lee will be carrying out his state visit to China for four days and three nights starting today.
He will first attend a meeting with Korean residents in China, and on the following day, the 5th, will hold a summit with Chinese President Xi Jinping. This summit between President Lee and President Xi comes about two months after their last meeting during the APEC summit in Gyeongju last November. On the 6th, President Lee is scheduled to travel to Shanghai to continue his state visit.
