[Financial News] As broadcaster Park Na-rae has suspended her activities amid allegations of power abuse towards her manager and controversy over her drinking habits, it has recently come to light that she pressed 'like' on a fellow broadcaster Kim Sook's SNS post, fueling further debate.
On December 30 last year, Kim Sook posted a photo on her SNS from the 2025 MBC Entertainment Awards, expressing gratitude to producers and acquaintances. Park Na-rae pressed 'like' on this post.
Some interpreted this as a response to Kim Sook mentioning Park Na-rae and expressing thanks during her acceptance speech after winning the top excellence award.
At the 2025 MBC Entertainment Awards held on December 29 last year, Kim Sook won the Top Excellence Award for 'Where Is My Home.' In her speech, she said, "I am deeply grateful to the 'Where Is My Home' family, Jang Dong-min, Yang Se-hyung, Yang Se-chan, Joo Woo-jae, and especially Team Leader Na-rae," referring to Park Na-rae, who is currently on hiatus.
Some criticized Park Na-rae for being active on SNS during what is essentially a period of self-reflection. Comments included, "Her colleagues have suffered because of her, is this really the time for SNS?", "She could have reached out privately, but this shows a lack of remorse," and "Isn't she causing unnecessary misunderstandings and holding Kim Sook back?"
On the other hand, others argued, "Is it wrong to express gratitude?", "Even during a hiatus, pressing 'like' on SNS is acceptable," and "It shows loyalty built over years of friendship."

Meanwhile, Park Na-rae has withdrawn from all her shows and suspended her broadcasting activities due to allegations of power abuse by former managers and controversy over illegal medical procedures.
As the controversy continued, Park Na-rae stated in a video on December 16, "There are facts that need to be calmly verified regarding the current issues, and legal procedures are underway. During this process, I will refrain from making any further public statements or explanations."
However, even after Park Na-rae made her statement, further allegations emerged, including claims that she threw a glass at her former manager.
On the 2nd, Channel A reported that Park Na-rae allegedly engaged in certain acts with a male companion in the back seat of a car driven by her manager. According to the report, a petition submitted by former managers to the Seoul Southern District Office of Employment and Labor, Gangnam Branch on the 18th of last month claimed that Park Na-rae's actions in the moving vehicle caused psychological distress to the employee.
