According to Financial News, a man was spotted urinating out of a moving vehicle after opening the door on a highway in Australia, causing widespread anger.
Foreign media outlets such as the Daily Mail and News.com reported that on the afternoon of the 26th (local time), a man was filmed urinating out of a moving car after opening the door on a highway in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.
A witness, identified as Mr. A, who was driving on the same road, said, "It was shocking. The rear door of a white Toyota Hilux suddenly opened, and a man leaned out and started urinating."
The video quickly spread on SNS, fueling controversy.
Local netizens reacted with comments such as "Disgusting," "Filthy," "I can't believe this is tolerated," "This is the most bizarre thing I’ve ever seen," "Such a dangerous act," and "It could have easily led to a serious accident."
One user criticized the driver, saying, "It's absurd. He could have just pulled over to the shoulder, so why did he handle it this way?"
The act reportedly violates local road and public order regulations in Victoria and could result in fines.
In Victoria, failing to wear a seatbelt carries a minimum fine of 407 Australian dollars and three demerit points. Public urination typically results in a 200 Australian dollar penalty. Opening a car door while driving can lead to a fine of over 500 Australian dollars, and sticking any part of the body out of a moving vehicle is subject to a 204 Australian dollar fine.
In total, the fines could add up to 1,311 Australian dollars.
