[Financial News] Actor Kim Seon-ho, who is set to appear in the Netflix series 'Can This Love Be Translated?' premiering on January 16 next year, will also take the stage in Daehangno for a play in February.
The play 'Secret Passage' will be performed on February 13 next year at NOL Theater Daehakro Woori Investment & Securities Hall in Jongno-gu, Seoul. Ahead of the performance, a special video was released. On the 29th, production company Contents Haap announced via its official YouTube channel that it had unveiled the special video for 'Secret Passage.'
‘Secret Passage’ tells the story of two men who, having lost their memories in an unfamiliar space, encounter each other and revisit intertwined memories through books. The play explores the thin line between life and death, fate, and the repetition of existence.
In the special video, Seojin (played by Lee Si-hyeong) approaches a book lying on the floor, picks it up, and looks around the unfamiliar space filled with books. At that moment, Dongjae (played by Kim Seon-ho) enters the room slowly, offering a reassuring smile. When Seojin places his palm on the open page of the book, a seismic shift occurs, as if the world surrounding the two men is collapsing. This special video was produced with support from the Namsan XR Studio Cultural Artists Production Support Program and was specially directed by No Nakhun.
Meanwhile, 'Secret Passage' is based on 'The Conference Room of Loopholes,' an original work by playwright and director Tomohiro Maekawa, who has won the Yomiuri Theater Awards for Best Director and Best Production in Japan. The play is directed by Min Sae-rom, a young artist recognized in Korea for works such as 'Jellyfish,' 'On the Beat,' and 'Mend the Living.' Yang Kyung-won, Kim Seon-ho, and Kim Sung-kyu will portray Dongjae, a man who seems to have spent a familiar amount of time somewhere, while Lee Si-hyeong, Oh Kyung-joo, and Seung-ho Kang will play Seojin, a man who begins to ask questions in an unfamiliar space.
