[Financial News] Singer Jang Yoon-jeong revealed that she has a unique 'pregnancy constitution.'
On the 24th, through her YouTube channel, Jang Yoon-jeong discussed topics such as ovulation, pregnancy, childbirth, and parenting concerns with Lee Eun-hyung and Hong Hyun-hee.
Lee Eun-hyung, who is considering having a second child, remarked to Jang Yoon-jeong, "You seem to have a golden pelvis and a golden uterus." In response, Jang Yoon-jeong said, "The obstetrics and gynecology doctor told me to be careful because my body gets pregnant at the slightest touch."
Lee Eun-hyung then asked, "Does that mean you implant easily?" Jang Yoon-jeong replied, "Implantation is easy for me, and my ovulation is very regular. I even know which ovary is ovulating. I don't have menstrual cramps, but I do experience ovulation pain, which can be quite painful."
Lee Eun-hyung joked, "Does it make a warning sound or something?" which made everyone laugh, while Hong Hyun-hee commented, "You must be very sensitive to notice that." Jang Yoon-jeong added, "Last month, it was on the left side."
"High Fertility" Body Condition Explained

Pregnancy is influenced by healthy reproductive function, internal environment, hormonal balance, and blood circulation. A body that easily becomes pregnant typically has a regular ovulation cycle and normal hormonal levels, including Follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH), Luteinizing hormone (LH), Estrogen, and Progesterone, resulting in well-balanced hormones.
From a constitutional perspective, conditions for easy conception include a warm body, smooth blood circulation, and customized care based on uterine constitution. There should be no uterine or ovarian diseases such as Uterine fibroid or Endometriosis. Those who are congenitally weak in kidney energy are less likely to conceive.
For a healthy pregnancy, it is important to maintain an appropriate weight with a Body Mass Index (BMI) of 18.5–22, eat a balanced diet, avoid excessive alcohol and caffeine, refrain from smoking, manage stress, and get enough sleep. If the body becomes acidic due to stress, the fertilized egg may not implant well in the uterine lining. Sperm are also vulnerable to acidic environments.
Keeping the body warm is also important, as a cold body can make conception difficult. Taking frequent walks and exercising are beneficial. It is not advisable to drink only cold beverages or eat cold foods just because the weather is hot.
Experiencing Pain During Ovulation

The Mittelschmerz that Jang Yoon-jeong experiences refers to abdominal pain felt by women of childbearing age during ovulation (about two weeks before menstruation begins). Typically, this occurs about two weeks before the first day of the next period and is often felt on only one side, either the right or left. The pain usually disappears within a few hours, but in some cases, abdominal discomfort can persist for two to three days.
According to Asan Medical Center, the exact cause of Mittelschmerz is still unclear. One theory is that when the follicle ruptures during ovulation and the egg is released into the abdominal cavity, a small amount of bleeding causes the pain. Another theory suggests that as the follicle grows near ovulation, swelling occurs in the ovary, which leads to the pain.
No special treatment is usually necessary, but painkillers may be used if the pain is severe. Taking a Combined oral contraceptive pill (COCP) prevents ovulation and thus eliminates Mittelschmerz.
However, if you have a fever, pain during urination, abnormal bleeding, or vomiting, it is advisable to visit a hospital even if the pain occurs exactly during ovulation. Especially if the pain lasts more than a day, you should seek medical attention.
