[Financial News] The official name of the Office of the President of South Korea will be changed to 'Cheong Wa Dae' on the 29th. After approximately three years and seven months, the official designation for the presidential office will return to Cheong Wa Dae.
The spokesperson for the Office of the President of South Korea announced on the 24th that the Presidential Standard of South Korea will be raised at Cheong Wa Dae at midnight on the 29th, coinciding with its lowering at the Yongsan District office. The spokesperson added that, as a result, the official name will change from the Office of the President of South Korea to Cheong Wa Dae starting on the 29th.
This month, the Office of the President of South Korea has been relocating its core facilities to Cheong Wa Dae. However, the official residence where President Lee Jae-myung stays is expected to complete its move in the first half of next year.
