Lotte Cinema to Screen Paris Opera Ballet’s Giselle and Le Parc at Theaters

Lotte Cinema will exclusively showcase the 'Paris Opera & Ballet' performance series in its theaters.
According to Lotte Cinema on the 23rd, in collaboration with performance content distributor WizOnsen, it will screen signature repertoires of the world-renowned Paris Opera Ballet.
This series consists of three performances: the classic ballet symbolizing the end and beginning of the year, 'The Nutcracker' (premiering on the 31st); the pinnacle of romantic ballet, 'Giselle' (opening on February 5 next year), which explores love, betrayal, and forgiveness through surreal fantasy; and the contemporary ballet 'Le Parc' (premiering on April 9 next year), which captures the tension of love and desire through modern choreography.
Screening these performances in theaters allows audiences to appreciate the intricate formations, staging, and timing of group dances that are often missed in live venues. The exceptional stage design, costumes, and lighting—hallmarks of the Paris Opera Ballet—can also be experienced up close, promising a deeply immersive viewing experience.
The 'Paris Opera & Ballet' series will be available at ten Lotte Cinema locations nationwide, including Lotte World Tower and Konkuk University Station.
