[The Financial News] Broadcaster Park Na-rae has filed additional charges of embezzlement against her former managers, following previous accusations of blackmail.
According to police on the 23rd, Park Na-rae filed a complaint with Yongsan Police Station on the 20th, accusing two former managers of occupational embezzlement. This follows an earlier complaint filed on the 5th, in which she accused them of blackmail.
A representative from Park Na-rae’s agency, Anpark, stated on the 6th, "A former manager established a private corporation, and it was confirmed that some funds were diverted to this entity under the pretext of agency fees." The agency had previously announced intentions to pursue additional embezzlement charges.
Meanwhile, Park Na-rae’s former managers also filed a complaint against her on the 5th, accusing her of aggravated assault, defamation by spreading false information, and violations of the Information and Communications Network Act. Park Na-rae has also temporarily suspended her activities amid controversy over allegedly receiving illegal medical procedures from 'Injection Aunt' and others.
As mutual accusations continue between Park Na-rae and her former managers following allegations of power abuse, their cases are currently under investigation by Gangnam Police Station and Yongsan Police Station, respectively. In addition, police are investigating illegal medical practices related to 'Injection Aunt' after receiving the case from the prosecution.
