The Korea Tourism Organization (KTO) announced on the 22nd that it will host a Korean tourism souvenir pop-up store at the Lotte Department Store Main Branch in Jung-gu, Seoul, from the 26th to the 31st.
With the theme of a 'New Year’s Gift Shop,' the pop-up will showcase a total of 96 K-souvenirs, including award-winning items from the 2025 Korea Tourism Souvenir Contest (souvenir category) such as the Joseon Royal Wine Stopper, Gold Leaf Craft DIY Coloring Kit, and Come Hither Gat Wind Chime. KTO stated that, in consideration of year-end gift demand, it has carefully selected products that combine traditional Korean aesthetics with practicality.
To enhance the visitor experience, a variety of participation benefits will be offered. Every customer who makes a purchase at the pop-up store will receive a special New Year’s postcard created for the event, while those who spend over 30,000 won will also be given a sticker pack inspired by the New Year.
Yoo Han-soon, head of the Shopping and Accommodation Team at KTO, remarked, “This pop-up store will serve as a meaningful stage to directly present the value and appeal of Korean tourism souvenirs to both domestic and international consumers at the heart of Korea’s shopping and tourism scene. We hope this event will widely promote the excellence of our souvenirs and provide foreign tourists with a memorable keepsake from their travels in Korea.”
