[Financial News] A Japanese woman in her 50s was booked by police for attempting to unlawfully enter the home of BTS member Jung Kook.
On the 22nd, Yongsan Police Station in Seoul announced that Ms. A, a Japanese woman in her 50s who had been under preliminary investigation for attempted trespassing, was officially booked on the 16th and that a full investigation is now underway.
Police recently summoned a representative of Jung Kook to conduct a complainant interview. At the request of the complainant, the investigation also includes charges of violating the Act on the Punishment of Stalking Crimes.
Ms. A is accused of repeatedly attempting to unlock the door of Jung Kook’s detached house in Yongsan District between the 12th and 14th of last month.
However, since Ms. A is not currently in Korea, police have not yet questioned her as a suspect.
A police official stated, "If Ms. A re-enters Korea, an investigation will be conducted."
This is not the first time someone has attempted unauthorized entry into Jung Kook’s home.
In August, a Korean woman in her 40s entered the parking lot of Jung Kook’s residence and was sent to the Prosecution Service in October on charges of trespassing and violating the Act on the Punishment of Stalking Crimes.
Earlier, in June, a Chinese woman in her 30s attempted to break in but failed and later received a prosecutorial suspension of indictment.
