[Financial News] A Japanese woman has been booked by police for attempting to unlock the door at the residence of Jung Kook, a member of BTS.
Yongsan Police Station in Seoul announced on the 22nd that a Japanese woman in her 50s, previously under preliminary investigation for attempted trespassing, was officially booked on the 16th and the case has been upgraded to a formal investigation.
At the request of the complainant, police have also applied charges for violating the Act on the Punishment of Stalking Crimes.
The woman is accused of repeatedly attempting to unlock the door of Jung Kook’s single-family home in Yongsan District between the 12th and 14th of last month.
However, as the suspect is not currently in Korea, police have not yet questioned her. Authorities plan to resume the investigation if she re-enters the country.
