[Financial News] As TV personality Park Na-rae faces allegations of power abuse from her former managers, an anecdote involving actor Lee Seo-jin’s visit to Narae Bar is drawing renewed attention. Narae Bar is a private party hosted by Park Na-rae, known for her love of social gatherings, where she invites friends to her home for food and drinks. The venue has been mentioned several times on television.
In October 2018, Lee Seo-jin appeared on KBS 2TV’s Happy Together Season 4 and addressed rumors that he had to be carried out of Narae Bar after passing out. On the show, Cho Sae-ho asked, "According to what I've heard, you volunteered to go there yourself. Is that true?"
Lee Seo-jin responded, "That’s not true. The story has been exaggerated. I got to know Park Na-rae while working on a program together, and she said she was very grateful and wanted to invite me over. So I said, 'Alright, I'll come by once.'"
He continued, "I wasn’t carried out after passing out. I was drunk, but I left early. It didn’t feel like a place to stay for long. I left on my own, and since I had a shoot the next day, I left around 11 p.m."
Lee Seo-jin added, "I messaged Park Na-rae, saying, 'If you keep this up, you might get sued. My company says they’ll sue you.' Park Na-rae replied, 'I’m so sorry, oppa,' and then stopped contacting me."
He further explained, "I heard that Park Na-rae was so scared at the time that she couldn’t bring herself to reach out again."
When Jun Hyun-moo commented, "You joked so seriously that she might have thought you were really going to sue," Lee Seo-jin replied, "If you keep exaggerating things on TV, you might actually get a legal notice. From the company’s perspective, the story keeps getting blown out of proportion."
Meanwhile, Park Na-rae has suspended her activities after allegations surfaced that she forced her former manager to drink and clean up after parties, as well as claims that she received illegal medical procedures from an unlicensed individual.
