[The Financial News] Amid various allegations surrounding broadcaster Park Na-rae, a message left by 'Injection Aunt', who is at the center of illegal medical practice suspicions, on her profile has drawn public attention.
On the 18th, Dispatch reported that Ms. Lee, known as 'Injection Aunt', allegedly provided illegal medical treatments such as prescribing diet pills and administering IV drips to YouTuber Haetnim the Short Mouth. The report also revealed updates to Injection Aunt's social media profile.
Ms. Lee wrote in her social media profile message, "I once advised not to become close with people who put on a facade. I thought they were my trusted, cherished, and loved younger friends, but it turns out I was the only fool."
There is speculation that Park Na-rae, Key, Haetnim the Short Mouth, and others involved in the Injection Aunt controversy may have made Ms. Lee feel betrayed by shifting responsibility onto her, all claiming, "We thought she was a doctor."
In another profile message, Ms. Lee asserted her medical credentials, stating, "It is true that I was a professor at Inner Mongolia Medical University from 2014 to 2019. I simply could not return to Inner Mongolia after 2019 due to COVID-19, and it was a difficult time because of the pandemic. I was only informed later that in July 2021, the university’s name changed to University of Science and Technology."
In connection with this, Seoul Gangnam Police Station has received a complaint requesting an investigation into a hospital in Gangnam District, Seoul, where Injection Aunt reportedly worked, for alleged violations of the Medical Service Act and the Act on Special Measures for the Control of Health Crimes. The case has been assigned to an investigative team and is currently under investigation.

Meanwhile, Haetnim the Short Mouth, who was suspected of receiving procedures from Injection Aunt, posted a statement in her YouTube channel community in the early hours of the 19th, announcing a suspension of her activities.
Haetnim the Short Mouth stated, "Because I first met Ms. Lee at a hospital in Gangnam District, I had no reason to doubt and believed she was a doctor. I am currently reflecting on and organizing my thoughts regarding the ongoing controversy and allegations. If there is anything I did wrong, I will acknowledge it and will not make excuses or avoid responsibility."
