[The Financial News] A woman in her twenties, who was diagnosed with breast hypertrophy at the age of 15 and struggled with the condition, revealed that after changing her perspective, she now earns £45,000 (about 9 million KRW) per month.
According to The Sun on the 18th, Summer Robert, 27, from Glasgow, Scotland, confessed, "When I was 15, I realized my breasts kept growing and thought of myself as a 'monster.'"
However, she stated, "Now, I use my large breasts to my advantage and earn up to £45,000 every month."
Although Summer is only 149 cm tall, her breasts weigh as much as 30 kg. She explained, "This year alone, my breast size increased by 10 sizes. It’s unbelievable, and they just keep growing. Two years ago, they tripled in size."
She added, "The hospital also confirmed that my breasts are still growing. There doesn’t seem to be a limit. I am 100% certain that I have the largest breasts in the UK."
She complained of back pain caused by the weight of her breasts. Summer said, "My spine was twisted. I underwent spinal correction surgery last week, and it was extremely difficult."
However, she currently has no plans to undergo breast reduction surgery. Summer shared, "As a teenager, I hated my large breasts so much that I just wanted to get rid of them, but now I wonder, 'How much bigger will they get?' Maybe in ten years I’ll reconsider, but for now, I want to see how things develop."
She also confessed that she avoids going out alone due to the stares and borderline harassment from strangers she encounters on the street.
Summer said, "No matter where I go, I can’t avoid people staring at me. I’m always being watched. Just because my breasts are large, I’ve been insulted and have experienced many strange reactions."
Ultimately, Summer decided to embrace her body confidently and, two years ago, created an account on the adult site OnlyFans. She is now among the top 0.02% of earners on OnlyFans.
Summer revealed, "On my first day on OnlyFans, I made £800 (about 1.5 million KRW). Last month, I earned £22,500 (about 4.5 million KRW) in a single day."
She concluded, "I used to think of myself as a monster, but now I’ve learned to accept my voluptuous figure as it is. I really love how I look now."
She suffers from pain in her back and shoulders... and significant psychological stress.
Breast hypertrophy is a condition in which excessive secretion of female hormones causes abnormal and excessive growth of breast tissue. The breasts can grow several times larger within months or years, and the condition is diagnosed when the breast weight exceeds the average (200–250g) by more than 200g. It can also occur temporarily due to pregnancy, childbirth, or breastfeeding, and sometimes results from hormonal imbalances during puberty.
Most patients with breast hypertrophy experience difficulties in daily life due to their large breasts. They frequently suffer from pain in the shoulders, neck, and back, and often develop inflammation under the breasts. Headaches and fatigue are also common. The overt stares from others can lead to psychological distress, loss of confidence, and even depression.
Some patients with breast hypertrophy improve naturally, but many require breast reduction or mastectomy due to persistent growth, pain, and increased risk of infection.
Breast reduction surgery options, depending on the patient’s health and breast size, include areolar incision, inframammary fold incision, vertical incision, and liposuction.
Because breast reduction is a complex procedure, lack of experience can increase the risk of complications and side effects. It is important to undergo surgery with a skilled specialist. Patients should consult with a professional to determine which surgery is most suitable and safe for them.
In particular, breast reduction often involves removing not only skin or fat but also glandular tissue, which may affect the ability to breastfeed. There is also a risk of reduced nipple sensation or damage to the mammary glands.
If you plan to become pregnant or breastfeed in the future, it is essential to consult thoroughly with a specialist before surgery.
