High1 Resort in Jeongseon, Gangwon Province, operated by Kangwon Land, is enhancing its food and beverage (F&B) content in anticipation of the year-end peak season.
High1 Resort announced on the 18th that, starting from the 19th, it will launch lunch service at its fine dining restaurant 'La Vista' inside the High1 Grand Hotel, and on the 25th, it will open the new sushi restaurant 'Rinka.'
The newly opened 'Rinka' means 'petals arranged in a circle' in Japanese, and is designed as a Japanese restaurant where food, people, and space come together harmoniously. By blending the refined aesthetics of traditional Japanese cuisine with modern dining elements, the restaurant aims to appeal to both casual diners and those seeking a premium culinary experience.
Notably, Rinka is the first hotel in Korea to introduce a revolving sushi bar, drawing attention for this unique feature. The restaurant offers more than just a dining space, enhancing the experience with visual enjoyment and interactive elements. In addition, a variety of distinctive dishes will be served, including sushi omakase made with seasonal local ingredients and grilled fish prepared in a wood-fired oven, combining authenticity with originality.
Meanwhile, the premium Western dining restaurant 'La Vista,' located on the 23rd floor of the High1 Grand Hotel, is expanding its operating hours. Previously open mainly for dinner, La Vista has extended its hours in response to the increasing number of family and couple visitors.
Kwon Bu-geun stated, “Rinka is designed as a space where guests can enjoy Japanese cuisine in a comfortable yet refined setting, and we expect it to become a signature restaurant at High1 that appeals to a wide range of customers. We will continue to strengthen our food and beverage offerings to reflect customer preferences and patterns, expanding High1’s unique and differentiated gourmet experiences.”
