[Financial News] Park Na-rae's ex-boyfriend has been reported by an online user for allegedly collecting managers' personal information illegally and handing it over to investigative authorities.
According to police on the 17th, Yongsan Police Station in Seoul has received a complaint regarding violations of the Personal Information Protection Act by Park Na-rae's ex-boyfriend, referred to as Mr. A. The complaint also names unidentified accomplices, including teachers and those suspected of aiding and abetting.
The netizen who posted on an online community stated, "Along with Mr. A, I reported unidentified teachers and other accomplices to Yongsan Police Station in Seoul to identify those involved," adding, "I am sharing that an investigation has begun today."
According to the YouTube channel 'Entertainment President Lee Jin-ho,' Mr. A is suspected of collecting the names, resident registration numbers, and addresses of two managers and one stylist under the pretense of drafting employment contracts, following a theft at Park Na-rae's home in Itaewon-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul, last April. He allegedly submitted this personal information to the police as reference material.
The managers claim that Mr. A explained the information was for contract purposes, but it was actually used as evidence in the theft investigation.
The netizen explained, "I filed the report to request a thorough investigation into whether the allegations raised in the broadcast are true."
Police plan to review the complaint and investigate the details of the case.
Meanwhile, a legal dispute is also ongoing between Park Na-rae and her former managers. The ex-managers have filed a complaint against Park Na-rae with Gangnam Police Station for aggravated assault, defamation by spreading false information, and violations of the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection. Park Na-rae has filed a countersuit against them. Yongsan Police Station in Seoul is also investigating this case.
During this process, former manager Mr. B revealed, "I started working with Park Na-rae on September 12 last year. There was no written contract, and I received my monthly salary with only 3.3% tax deducted. It was an unwanted freelance arrangement. I repeatedly asked Park Na-rae to enroll me in the Four Major Social Insurances, but she did not comply. Park Na-rae, her mother, and her ex-boyfriend were all enrolled in the Four Major Social Insurances."
He continued, "I also handled accounting for Park Na-rae's company and received about 3 million won per month. However, her ex-boyfriend, who did not work, was paid 4 million won every month until last month." The veracity of these claims has not been confirmed.
