Police Rescue Pianist Dong-Hyek Lim After Apparent Suicide Warning... "Not in Life-Threatening Condition"

[Financial News] Renowned pianist Dong-Hyek Lim (41), who posted a message on social media hinting at an extreme decision, was rescued by police who responded to the scene.
On the 16th, Seoul Seocho Police Station reported that at around 8:30 a.m. they received a call expressing concern for Lim. Officers were dispatched and rescued him at a location in Seocho-dong, Seocho-gu.
Lim is currently receiving treatment at a nearby hospital and is not in life-threatening condition.
Earlier that morning, at 7:34 a.m., Lim posted a message on Instagram, saying, "Thanks to all of you, I have been happy and grateful," which suggested an intent to make an extreme decision.
Lim has gained international recognition by winning prizes at the International Chopin Piano Competition, International Tchaikovsky Competition, and Queen Elisabeth Competition.
