[The Financial News] KakaoTalk messages between Kim Keon Hee and Lee Jun-soo, the main operator of the 2015 DEUTSCH MOTORS INC. stock price manipulation case, have been made public.
On the 8th, SisaIN editor Joo Jin-woo revealed on YouTube's 'Joo Reporter Live,' "Kim Keon Hee first messaged Lee, asking, 'What should I do about Deutsch?'" He added, "This is evidence that Lee Jun-soo was consulting Kim Keon Hee about stock price manipulation at least until 2015," and disclosed the message contents.
A photo capturing their exchanged messages shows that Kim Keon Hee had saved Lee Jun-soo's contact as 'Junsu Han Saram' (a decent person).
Joo Jin-woo explained, "Her husband Yoon Suk Yeol is saved as 'Yoon Suk Yeol,' her mother Choi Eun-soon as 'Chairwoman Choi Eun-soon,' but only Lee Jun-soo is saved as 'Junsu Han Saram.'"
The captured image shows that on Tuesday, May 12, 2015, Kim Keon Hee initiated the conversation by asking Lee, "What should I do about Deutsch?"
Instead of answering directly, Lee replied, "Are you still trading stocks these days? Still doing that? You must be married." Kim responded, "I'm not married. The unit price is 4,500 won."
Lee then said, "If you keep it, you're basically married. Deutsch is foolish." Kim replied with a playful emoji and asked again, "Should I sell?"
Lee answered, "I'll check and let you know later. There are plenty of good things in the market." Kim replied, "Okay, be sure to let me know," ending the conversation.
Kim Keon Hee, who faces allegations of stock price manipulation and solicitation involving the Unification Church, is seen entering the defendant's seat at the Seoul Central District Court in Seocho District on the 3rd. On the right, Lee Jun-soo, known as an accomplice in the 'DEUTSCH MOTORS INC. stock price manipulation case,' is being escorted to the Special Prosecutor's office at the KT Gwanghwamun Building in Jongno District, Seoul, after being arrested at the Chungju Service Area on November 20. /Photo=News1

Regarding the content of the messages, Joo Jin-woo explained, "(Kim) still held Deutsch stock and was asking Lee Jun-soo, who was involved with those groups, whether she should sell."
He continued, "Lee Jun-soo met Kim Keon Hee for stock consulting from the beginning and was clearly involved in the Deutsch stock price manipulation. Yet, during the investigation by the Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office, Lee was released without even a written statement. The prosecution must be held accountable."
In fact, Lee was known as one of the main operators who managed Kim's account during the first round of the DEUTSCH MOTORS INC. stock price manipulation from late 2009 to September 2010.
However, in October last year, both Kim and Lee were not indicted. At the time, the Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office questioned Kim's awareness of price manipulation, and Lee testified, "I think Kim Keon Hee was actually a victim." His statement became a key reason for the prosecution's decision to clear Kim of charges.
Recently, however, during the Special Prosecutor's investigation, Lee reversed his previous testimony and reportedly stated that regarding the trading pool using Kim's Daishin Securities account on October 28 and November 1, 2010, "It seems Kim was involved."
