Kim Jung-mo, Chairman of DK ASIA: "Royal Park City Sets a New Standard for Future Cities"

DK ASIA announced on the 9th that it received the grand prize at the Climate Action Award ceremony held on the 26th of last month, in recognition of its achievement in creating South Korea’s first and largest eco-friendly premium resort city in the metropolitan area that combines urban and resort concepts. The Climate Action Award is presented to eco-friendly public institutions, private companies, organizations, and individuals who actively contribute to preserving the global environment and addressing the climate crisis.
DK ASIA aims to create spaces where people of all generations can experience inspiration in their everyday lives. In the field of landscaping, the company implemented eco-friendly designs centered on Royal Park City residents, establishing an environment where health and relaxation are part of daily life. The company believes that presenting a sustainable model for future cities was the key reason for winning this award.
Previously, in November, DK ASIA received an Honorable Mention at the 2025 International Federation of Landscape Architects (IFLA) Awards held in Mumbai, India. The company was recognized for introducing the world’s first 5D landscaping concept incorporating the element of time, as well as a mulching technique inspired by the human-centered Renaissance architectural aesthetic.
A representative from DK ASIA stated, "Our eco-friendly premium resort residential services provide healing not only through landscaping, but also in all aspects of daily life, including healthcare, exercise, dining, and relaxation, thereby increasing resident satisfaction." The representative added, "In the medical field, we introduced Korea’s first direct face-to-face medical service exclusively for residents through a partnership with International St. Mary's Hospital, College of Medicine, Catholic Kwandong University." International St. Mary's Hospital is a leading university hospital in Incheon.
Additionally, the operation of the trackless Royal Train allows residents to enjoy world-class landscaping and diverse infrastructure. Emotional spaces are featured throughout the development, such as a rye field walking trail that stays green even in winter and the display of two real airplanes that appeared in the film 'Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning.'
DK ASIA believes that these initiatives have also elevated its brand status. In fact, in the high-end residential brand reputation rankings announced monthly by the Korea Institute of Corporate Reputation, DK ASIA became the first major developer to join the top three brands alongside THE H by HDEC and LE-EL by LOTTE Engineering & Construction Co., Ltd.
