KOSPI Hovers Around 4,130 Amid Tug-of-War Between Domestic and Foreign Investors [Afternoon Market Update]

The Korea Composite Stock Price Index (KOSPI) is holding steady at the 4,130 level on the 9th.
As of 1:30 p.m., the KOSPI was trading at 4,139.51, down 15.34 points (0.37%) from the previous session. The index opened at 4,129.77, a decrease of 25.08 points (0.60%) from the previous day.
In the KOSPI market, individual investors and institutions are net buyers of 122.5 billion won and 113 billion won, respectively. In contrast, foreign investors have sold a net 263.9 billion won.
Among the top market cap stocks, Samsung Biologics (up 1.66%), HD Hyundai Heavy Industries (up 6.26%), Hanwha Aerospace (up 2.24%), and Doosan Enerbility (up 0.26%) are gaining. On the other hand, Samsung Electronics (down 1.28%), SK hynix (down 1.91%), LG Energy Solution (down 2.33%), and Hyundai Motor Company (down 2.69%) are declining.
At the same time, the KOSDAQ Index is trading at 928.81, up 1.02 points (0.11%) from the previous session. The KOSDAQ Index opened at 926.93, down 0.86 points (0.09%) from the previous close.
