Police Arrest Man in His 60s for Attempting to Lure Elementary Student on Way to School

According to Financial News, a man in his 60s was apprehended by police in Guro District, Seoul, after attempting to lure an elementary school student on their way to school.
The Seoul Guro Police Station announced on the 9th that Mr. A, a man in his 60s, is under investigation on suspicion of attempted enticement of a minor.
Mr. A is accused of approaching and gesturing to a first-grade elementary school student near a school in Guro District, Seoul, around 8:30 a.m. the previous day, attempting to lure the child.
The student's mother intervened and reported Mr. A to the police. At the time of the incident, Mr. A was under the influence of alcohol. He fled the scene but was apprehended by responding officers.
Mr. A reportedly denied the allegations during police questioning.
Police plan to request an arrest warrant for Mr. A.
