Comedian Park Na-rae.

As controversies surrounding comedian Park Na-rae intensify, police have launched an investigation into allegations of aggravated assault, defamation by spreading false information, and violations of the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection (ICNA), following complaints filed by her former managers.
Gangnam Police Station announced on the 9th that it had received a complaint from Park Na-rae’s former managers the previous day. The former managers claimed they were repeatedly forced to perform personal tasks, such as drinking together, running errands, and handling household and medical matters, and alleged that Park Na-rae even caused injury by throwing a glass at them.
Gangnam Police Station had previously booked Park Na-rae after receiving a separate report through e-People. The accused parties include Park Na-rae, her mother, an unidentified medical professional, a former manager, and a one-person agency. The charges listed are violations of the Medical Service Act, the Popular Culture and Arts Industry Development Act, aggravated assault, and injury.
The legal dispute surrounding Park Na-rae has escalated further as both sides have filed countercomplaints and countersuits. Park Na-rae has accused her former managers of blackmail and is reportedly considering an additional complaint for embezzlement. Conversely, the former managers have accused Park Na-rae of misusing company funds and have filed a complaint for embezzlement under the Act on the Aggravated Punishment, etc. of Specific Economic Crimes.
The controversy has grown even larger with allegations that Park Na-rae received illegal procedures and proxy prescriptions from a so-called 'injection aunt.'
As the controversy continued, Park Na-rae announced her suspension from broadcasting activities via social media the previous day and has stepped down from programs such as Munhwa Broadcasting Corporation (MBC)'s I Live Alone and tvN's Amazing Saturday.
Regarding the revelations by her former managers, Park Na-rae explained, "There were misunderstandings that have been resolved through direct conversation." However, as complaints and accusations continue, the conflict appears to be escalating. Police plan to verify the facts of each case.
